1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Jyotika website and services (collectively, the "Service"), available at vedichart.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease using the Service and discontinue any access to our platform. Your continued use of Jyotika following the posting of any modifications to these Terms of Service constitutes your acceptance of such modifications. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.

2. Description of Service

Jyotika is a digital platform that provides vedic astrology readings, natal chart analysis, planetary position interpretations, and related astrological information and guidance. The Service includes access to personalized astrological charts, interpretations based on vedic principles, and general astrological insights. Jyotika is accessed through vedichart.com and may be available through other platforms as we develop our services.

The Service allows registered users to generate vedic natal charts, receive astrological readings, and access educational content related to vedic astrology traditions. The specific features and functionalities available may vary based on your subscription level and are subject to change at our sole discretion.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of Jyotika, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information as requested during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Accurate Information

You warrant that all information provided during account registration is true, accurate, complete, and current. You agree to update your account information as necessary to maintain its accuracy. Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information, or impersonating another person while registering an account, is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of your access.

3.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any damages arising from unauthorized use of your account, provided such unauthorized use was not caused by our negligence.

3.4 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms of Service, providing false information, engaging in fraudulent activity, or using the Service in violation of applicable law.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Subscription Pricing

Jyotika offers a subscription service at a monthly rate of $9.00 USD (or equivalent in your local currency, as applicable). Subscription fees are recurring and will be charged monthly on the same date each month unless you cancel your subscription. Additional taxes, if applicable, may be added to the subscription price depending on your jurisdiction.

4.2 Billing and Payment

By providing payment information and initiating a subscription, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method on a recurring monthly basis. We use secure payment processors to handle all transactions. You are responsible for ensuring that your payment method is valid and that sufficient funds are available. If a payment fails, we may attempt to process the charge again or suspend your access to the Service until payment is received.

4.3 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your Jyotika subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our customer support team. Cancellation must be made prior to the renewal date to prevent charges for the following billing period. If you cancel during a billing period, your access will continue until the end of that current billing period. No refunds will be issued for the remainder of an active billing period after cancellation is processed.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Any pro-rata refunds for partial months are not provided. If you cancel and later wish to resume your subscription, you may reactivate your account at any time by initiating a new subscription, which will be subject to the current pricing and terms.

4.4 Refund Policy

Jyotika does not offer refunds for subscription fees paid for completed billing periods. Since the Service is provided immediately upon payment and is available continuously throughout each billing period, all subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced.

The following circumstances may result in a refund or credit:

• A refund may be issued if you have been incorrectly charged due to a billing error on our part. Such refunds will be processed within thirty days of the charge and will be credited to your original payment method.
• If a subscription was purchased as a result of fraudulent activity on your account, we may reverse the charge upon verification and notification to appropriate authorities.
• In cases where we discontinue the Service entirely, we may provide a pro-rata refund for any active subscriptions at the time of discontinuation.

Refund requests must be submitted within sixty days of the charge date. To request a refund or report a billing error, contact our support team using the information provided in Section 10.

4.5 Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with thirty days' written notice to subscribers. If you do not agree to new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect. Your continued subscription following the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership

All content, features, and functionality available through Jyotika, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, algorithms, astrological calculations, chart interpretations, and software, are the exclusive property of Jyotika and its content providers, or are licensed to Jyotika by third parties. This content is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Limited License

Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, perform, or create derivative works based on the Service or any of its content without our express written permission. This restriction applies to all aspects of Jyotika, including but not limited to astrological charts, readings, interpretations, and educational materials.

5.3 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of any content or materials provided by Jyotika
• Distribute, transmit, publish, or communicate any content obtained through the Service to third parties
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property notices
• Use any automated tools, bots, or scraping technology to extract data from the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the underlying code or algorithms
• Use the Service in any manner that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of Jyotika or third parties

5.4 User-Generated Content

If you submit any content, feedback, or materials to Jyotika, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute such content in any media for any purpose, including marketing and promotional activities. You represent and warrant that you have the right to grant such license and that your submission does not infringe upon any third-party rights.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. JYOTIKA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

6.2 Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JYOTIKA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, EVEN IF JYOTIKA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL JYOTIKA'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN SUBSCRIPTION FEES DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

6.3 Exclusions from Liability

The limitations of liability set forth in this section apply to all claims arising from or related to the Service, including but not limited to:

• Inaccuracies or incompleteness of astrological readings or interpretations
• Loss of access to your account or data
• Third-party conduct or content
• Technical malfunctions or system failures
• Reliance upon astrological information provided through the Service
• Any actions taken in reliance upon the Service

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. In such cases, liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

JYOTIKA AND ALL CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE ARE FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. NOTHING PROVIDED THROUGH JYOTIKA CONSTITUTES PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, FINANCIAL ADVICE, LEGAL ADVICE, PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING, OR ANY OTHER FORM OF PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
